Children at St. Mark's
What about my kids? Our children's ministry, (Construction Company), provides a safe, fun and sometimes loud experience for kids age 4 through fifth grade. With drama, puppets, live music, videos and creative teaching, children at St. Mark’s learn about God, His love for them, and how they can love others.
We also provide a nursery for children (birth through age three) staffed with loving volunteers who will provide the utmost in attentive child care. We are committed to providing an inviting, warm and safe environment for all our children so that you can enjoy your worship experience knowing that your children will be carefully and lovingly cared for.
We’re committed to teaching children principles that will impact their character, judgment and self-assurance in this ever-challenging world. Your children will come away talking about the teaching, the fun, and the people who care for them!

General Questions
What makes this church unique? Our weekend services present the timeless truths of Christianity in a way that impacts people and their lives today. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you can grow in your understanding of Christianity at these services.
Is this a Christian Church, or something else? Though non-traditional in style, St. Mark's Church is deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith. Our vision is simple: to become a biblically functioning community of believers and fully developing followers of Christ so that God’s purposes can be accomplished in this world. Our mission is equally clear: to help spiritual seekers become followers of Jesus Christ and to connect every person to Christ and to other Christian people.
Does St. Mark’s belong to a denomination? St. Mark’s is an interdenominational church made up of people from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are not connected to a denomination. If you want to learn more about the ways we make decisions, our doctrinal statements, what we believe and what makes our hearts beat fast, you can call us, email us or explore this website. You can also request audio or written copies of messages which define the mission of our church.

Small Groups
Why do we have small groups at St. Mark’s? At St. Mark’s, we believe that the small group environment is the best place for life change to happen as group members study biblical truth in the context of long-term relationships. Small groups are where the truth of Scripture intersects with real life. This is the environment where friends can struggle together with faith issues and life events. It is also a safe place to investigate the claims Jesus made about himself and what it means to live a Christ-centered list.
Who can be in a small group? Anyone can be in a St. Mark’s Small Group. You don’t have to be a member or even an attendee of the church to participate. We encourage those who call St. Mark’s their home church to extend an invitation to neighbors, co-workers, and friends to join them in group life.
How long does a small group last? At St. Mark’s, there is no set length of time that a small group lasts. Some groups have chosen to meet for 12-24 months while other groups have been meeting for several years. We believe that healthy groups that embrace the values of the ministry are maturing and developing groups of people committed to caring for one another and reaching out to others looking to connect in group life.
If you are looking to try out group life, we encourage you to start with our shorter term groups such as Faith Steps Groups, or to contact Donna Wilson who will find a group for you to attend. If you find that it does not fit you, just let us know and we'll find another one that does meet your needs.

Letting us know that you're starting a small group allows us to partner with you. We are here to provide support and training, help with any group problems you might encounter, and provide assistance in locating study resources.
