If you're new to St. Mark's and wondering how you ever could get connected in a church this size, you're not alone. Practically everyone who comes to St. Mark's has felt lost in the shuffle of the crowd. Many have found themselves asking questions like:
- Where do I fit in?
- How do I meet and develop friendships in a church this size?
- What about serving? With all the people, am I really needed?
- Should I become a member?
- What if I have a question or family emergency? Who do I call?
At St. Mark's, we believe the first step to making a big church feel smaller is by discovering a place where you can connect with others. Sometimes finding that place can be a challenging task; that's why St. Mark's Connection Ministry is committed to assisting you discover the connection that's right for you.

If you're brand new to the church or have never experienced being in a small group, then St. Mark's has several types of groups available for you to explore. From serving groups to home Bible studies, a small group is a collection of 3 - 12 people who usually meet at least twice a month for social interaction, Bible study and serving opportunities. While no two groups are alike, all groups exist for the purpose of helping individuals get connected in authentic relationships, encouraging one another to grow spiritually, serving in the church and reaching those seeking to discover Christ. Contact the small groups ministry or the church office (336-584-8983) for more information.
