These groups are curriculum-based and are designed to meet people as they are in their stories and help them find God's healing touch. LifeCare also includes support groups.

  • DivorceCare
    • This is a biblically-based 13-week support group comprised of video teaching and peer support. It is led by both a male and female facilitator, and the sessions include insight from the country's foremost leaders in the field of divorce recovery as well as insightful testimony from previous participants. Study guides are included at a cost of $15.00 and scholarships are available.
  • First Place4Health
    • This 12-week Christ-centered health program for women is a support system incorporating Bible study, Scripture memory, prayer, healthy eating, and exercise. Tuesdays, January 10 - April 3, 2012, 9:00-10:30am, Chapel.



     
     


    GriefShare
    GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. It's a place to be around people who understand what you are feeling. At GriefShare, you'll learn valuable information about recovering from your grief and renewing your hope for the future. New session, Mondays, January 16 - April 9,2012, 6:30-8:00pm, Parlor.


    Nancy Emerson Breast Cancer Support Group
    If you are presently living in or have experienced the difficult season of battling breast cancer, please join us for a monthly informal support group led by women who have walked in those shoes. Meeting year round the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM in room 202 WC (Burlington campus). You are invited to an evening of faithful encouragement and shared stories.


    Well-Spouse Support Group
    The group is dedicated to offering emotional support to the wives and husbands of the chronically ill or disabled. When one is sick, two need help. Meets year round at 6:30 PM on the second Tuesday of each month, in room 203WC (Burlington campus).
