Support Groups

DivorceCare – 13 – week biblically based recovery group for people experiencing the pain of separation or divorce. Cost is $15.00 with scholarships available.

DC4K – DivorceCare for Kids – DC4K is a 13- week program for children who are dealing with the separation or divorce of their parents. The sessions mirror the DivorceCare curriculum and are adapted for children ages 5- 12 years old. The group is specifically open to children whose parents are currently enrolled in the DivorceCare session or have previously completed the 13 week program.

GriefShare
GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. It's a place to be around people who understand what you are feeling. At GriefShare, you'll learn valuable information about recovering from your grief and renewing your hope for the future. This group meets for 13 weeks on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM in Room 203.

Breast Cancer Support Group

If you are presently living in or have experienced the difficult season of battling breast cancer, please join us for a monthly informal support group led by women who have walked in those shoes. Meeting in the atrium the second Tuesday of the month, you are invited to an evening of faithful encouragement and shared stories.

We have many people who are willing to share their time and love with others. If we can do anything for you or someone you know, please call Ben Bishop at 584-8983, ext. 10.

  1. Providing Food: Primarily for Funerals of Church Members

  2. House Sit: During Funerals and Funeral Visitations

  3. Write Cards to St. Mark's Elderly or to Families that have lost a loved one

  4. Visit St. Mark's Shut-Ins or Elderly

  5. Errands: Shopping, Etc

  6. Phone Calls to St. Mark's Shut-Ins or Elderly

  7. Transportation: Take Someone to Appointment
