CHALKY STORIES

Fall is the perfect time to take kids outdoors for your Bible story. Use this idea that’ll help kids listen closely as they interpret the story through chalk art.

Tell kids to draw pictures with chalk on the sidewalk that depict the Bible story as you share it. Pause at various points to allow kids to interpret the story through chalk drawings. Afterward let children explain their drawings. This is a great way for kids to reinforce the Bible in their own words and understanding.
